What is Snapchat?
Snapchat is a new social messaging application used to share videos, images, text and drawings. It is free for download and available for Android and iOS devices too. After its release, it becomes so popular in a very short period of releasing among youngsters. The feature which makes Snapchat different from another messaging app is the messages and images which we send or share disappear from the recipient’s phone after a few seconds.
It is very simple to use, just take an image from your operating device and select the recipients from your contact, decide how long the message to be visible for (up to 10seconds) For the recipient, the process is same as like getting a text message, simply tap to view the snap. And the message disappears after the expiring time of 10 seconds.
New snapchat update
In the latest version of Snapchat app now user can save the snaps or images and videos recorded by Snapchat to their device photo albums. The new Snapchat update creates these mes=mories so that you can show each other your photos from the app. Users can also search their images using different keywords associated with the snaps (images) for example cat, hug, selfies etc. Memories can be shared as a story, directly to another friend or by showing a friend the album in real life. Users have the option to hide photos imported to Memories by moving them to the ‘My eyes only’ folder which can be password protected.
