Many of us think that is it possible to create an infinite file storage. As technology is moving so forward, we can do many things. But creating an infinite hard drive is not possible. Today we will look through it.
Before moving further, I want to ask a question to you that Does really infinite storage matters. In my opinion, The answer is “NO“. Humans need never end and sometimes they demand those things which are not useful.

If we convert our brains neuron storage space in technology terms then we find that a normal human can store 2.5 petabytes storage space. Now if you have a hard drive of more than 2.5 PB then you can remember only that you have a file of that name in this hard drive but you can’t remember the data of all files. It means you are keeping unwanted files on your hard drive to fill up the space. We can understand it with an example that everything on Google is not important (Google have a lot of storage but don’t have an infinite storage).
For keeping an infinite hard drive, you need an infinite computer to use it, an infinite amount of space to put it in. It means you are just going to disturb whole universe system. Nothing is infinite in this world except Black hole theory of Stephen Hawking.

With time, many things have changed in the technology era. Many years back we had to store a little bit data in MB in a room size computer. Now we are storing 10,000 times more data in our pocket. We can assume it as an infinite storage but actually, it is not.
For an instance, we assume that you have an infinite storage hard drive. Now assume that you store a KB size file on that hard drive. If you copy that file twice every second and repeat it for just a minute then 577 EB of space will need for this. In just 10 minutes of this, you will create an apocalypse.
So it is impossible to create an infinite storage hard drive.
